Amelanchier lamarckii
De Amelanchier lamarckii, ook wel de krentenboom genoemd, is een veelzijdige struik of kleine boom die in het voorjaar betoverend bloeit met witte bloemen, gevolgd door eetbare, donkerblauwe bessen in de zomer. In de herfst verandert het loof in prachtige tinten van oranje, rood en geel, wat deze plant een aantrekkelijk jaarrond accent maakt. Deze boom is ideaal voor kleine tuinen, als haag of in grotere landschappen.
